The protector operates between the motor and the separator, serving to protect the motor and withstand axial loads. Based on structural design, it can be categorized into bag-type protectors, labyrinth-type protectors, and combination protectors.

The entire series can provide pre-filled oil (PF) structure products. The TPR400 and TPR540 series offer enhanced protectors for high sand-resistance applications.
Options include high-strength shafts, high-temperature resistant rubber materials, and high-capacity thrust bearings to meet the requirements of extreme operating conditions.
The combination protector is a standard modular unit that incorporates the strengths of both bag-type and labyrinth-type protectors. It is designed in standard sections to allow flexible configuration based on mathematical models.
Standard modules can be assembled into various structural forms such as labyrinth-plus-bag or bag-plus-labyrinth types as needed. They can also be configured into single-chamber, dual-chamber, or triple-chamber structures through assembly variations to meet different downhole conditions or customer specifications.
Protectors with various special structures can be individually designed and manufactured according to user requirements.
