Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) Units
An ESP unit mainly consists of a submersible motor, protector, gas separator, and pump.Due to advantages such as ease of use, simple maintenance, and a small footprint, ESP units are widely used in both offshore and onshore oil field production. Based on the application environment and structural type, ESP units can be categorized into Standard, Sand-Resistant, and Corrosion-Resistant types.
Squirrel-cage Induction Motors TM375 ~ TM738 (2-pole ~ 8-pole speeds)
The submersible motor is a three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor. It serves as the power source for the ESP unit, converting electrical energy into mechanical energy to drive the multi-stage centrifugal pump, thereby lifting well fluid from the oil well to the surface. It is particularly suitable for oil production on offshore platforms. The submersible motor is primarily composed of the stator, rotor, head connector, thrust bearing, and pothead.
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors TMY456 ~ TMY562
The permanent magnet motor largely follows the structural design of the submersible induction motor. It operates at low speeds and can directly drive downhole progressing cavity pumps, making it especially suitable for crude oil extraction from high-viscosity wells.
Protectors TPR338 ~ TPR675 Series
The protector operates between the motor and the separator, serving to protect the motor and withstand axial loads. Based on structural design, it can be categorized into bag-type protectors, labyrinth-type protectors, and combination protectors.
Rotary Gas Separators (RGS) 338 ~ 538
The separator is a device designed to separate gas from liquid in well fluid. Oil wells often contain free gas, which can cause the medium within the submersible pump to break flow, thereby affecting unit performance. The separator mitigates or reduces the impact of gas on the working performance of the submersible pump by separating the gas-liquid mixture. Based on structural differences, it can be categorized into the RGS type, which uses a rotary centrifugal gas-liquid separation structure, and the VGS type, which employs a rotary vortex gas-liquid separation structure.
Vortex Gas Separators (VGS) 400 ~ 538
The separator is a device designed to separate gas from liquid in well fluid. Oil wells often contain free gas, which can cause the medium within the submersible pump to break flow, thereby affecting unit performance. The separator mitigates or reduces the impact of gas on the working performance of the submersible pump by separating the gas-liquid mixture. Based on structural differences, it can be categorized into the RGS type, which uses a rotary centrifugal gas-liquid separation structure, and the VGS type, which employs a rotary vortex gas-liquid separation structure.
The primary function of the intake section is to provide a fluid inlet for the pump. In cases where the gas content in the well fluid is insufficient to adversely affect pump operation, the intake section can be used directly without the need for a separator.
The Gas Processor features a structure similar to that of a pump. It effectively breaks down gas bubbles within the well fluid, dissolving them into the liquid, thereby significantly reducing the impact of undissolved gas on pump performance. It can be used to handle well fluid with a gas content of approximately 70%.
Gas Handler-Separators GP-S400 ~ GP-S538
The Gas Processor features a structure similar to that of a pump. It effectively breaks down gas bubbles within the well fluid, dissolving them into the liquid, thereby significantly reducing the impact of undissolved gas on pump performance. It can be used to handle well fluid with a gas content of approximately 70%.
Gas Processing Separators GP-S400 to GP-S538
The submersible pump is designed for oil field production engineering, lifting crude oil from the bottom of the well to the wellhead. As a rodless artificial lift system, it offers the advantages of high discharge capacity and high head, making it widely applicable in oil wells such as high-water-cut wells, deep wells, and directional wells. It can also be used for conveying other water-bearing media based on user requirements.
Horizontal High-Pressure Water Injection Systems
The high-pressure horizontal water injection system primarily consists of a motor, carrier, pump, and base. The inlet pressure can reach up to 12 MPa. The carrier is a patented product developed by our company, featuring independently owned intellectual property rights. Its unique self-cooling circulation system ensures stable and reliable operation even under significant axial loads. This system boasts a compact design, high safety and reliability, low maintenance requirements, easy installation, minimal environmental impact, and an exceptionally long service life.
Inverted ESP Units (456 Series & 540 Series)
The inverted submersible electric pump unit differs from conventional submersible units in that the submersible pump is positioned at the very bottom of the assembly, with all equipment arranged in a 180° rotation. Every component has been uniquely designed to perfectly match the inverted configuration.
Integrated Motors for De-watering Gas Wells
The integrated drainage and gas production (CBM) submersible motor combines the downhole motor and protector into a single unit, effectively replacing both the protector and motor in conventional electric submersible pumps. This design eliminates the need for on-site alignment between the protector and motor, significantly boosting installation efficiency. Additionally, it prevents impurities from entering the motor during assembly, enhancing the overall safety and reliability of the system.
ESP Systems for Water-Sealed Underground Oil Caverns
The underground water-sealed cavern oil storage system for submersible electric pumps primarily consists of a submersible pump, an explosion-proof submersible motor, a cable system, tubing, and the surface equipment. Notably, both the submersible pump and the motor are completely immersed in the crude oil stored within the cavern.
QJ submersible pump, a vertical single-suction multistage submersible pump with a wet-type water-filled motor design. The pump and motor are integrated into a single unit, designed to operate entirely submerged in water—quiet, compact in footprint, and easy to install and maintain.
